About Jordan
Jordan turned to Pilates after a dance-related hip injury, and immediately felt the benefits of the practice. After studying extensively with her mentor, Marimba Gold-Watts, Jordan pursued her own teaching career— receiving her Pilates Mat Certification from the Kane School and her Comprehensive Certification through Balanced Body with Lesley Powell.
Jordan has taught in studios across New York City, including Fort Pilates and Studio26 (now ARRIVE), and has worked with a wide range of populations and ability levels before launching her own teaching practice in 2021.
Now based out of Moontower Pilates in Austin, TX, Jordan helps clients re-pattern their movement habits and build strength through creative, anatomy-informed sessions that support injury recovery, performance goals, and everyday resilience.
Her specialties include: hip dysfunction, hypermobility (EDS), lower back pain and working with dancers.
FAQs
-
Pilates is a series of low-impact, full-body exercises developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates. These exercises are designed to improve strength, flexibility, posture and body awareness by increasing your core strength and connection to your physical self.

Pilates Mat Classes and Pilates on Zoom do not require any special equipment. However, I do usually suggest a few props to help clients get the most out of their sessions. You’ll be surprised by how creative we can get with just a few household objects!
Pilates at Moontower takes full advantage of all the classical Pilates apparatus including the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Ladder Barrel.

Pilates is truly for everyone! It is a wonderfully adaptive exercise system that is challenging and beneficial at any level.
Each session is personalized to your body to help you to achieve your movement goals I love getting creative with modifications and props to make sure we’re working just the right thing.
I have worked with clients of all ages and ability levels. Hyper mobile? Back pain? Tight hamstrings? You’ve come to the right place! -
I recommend all clients start with a 1-on-1 session with me so I can fully understand your goals and movement patterns. From there, we can discuss what frequency and class offerings would be right for you.
For example: I have several clients with weekly 1-on-1 sessions who also practice on their own with Pilates on Patreon. I have others who join me for Mat Classes and do a one-off Private Session when they’re interested in working on something specific.
The options are endless, and there’s something available for every budget!
-
All sessions are 55-minutes in length and are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy.
You should wear clothes that you can move in and socks or bare feet.
If your session is in-person, please be mindful of how you enter the space as there may be someone working before you.
If your session is on Zoom, take a few moments to clear the space around you so you’re able to move comfortably and check your camera angles!
Hot Tip: Have a couple of goals or questions in mind before our first session together, even if it’s as simple as, “I want to stand up straighter.” This way, we can get into what you want to work on right away.
