I’m excited to establish konverj/Austin as a home for collaboration rooted in dance and choreography. Through workshops, classes and performance opportunities, I hope to faciliate interdisciplinary collaboration while centering fair pay for artists.
konverj/Austin is a satellite company of konverjdans—our mothership in NYC.
🎀Dummy Suite🎀
The Full Version
Dummy Suite has made it’s way through the Austin Festival circuit, and this spring I plan to expand it into a 20-30 minute piece that includes more dancers, a new score, a short film and more.
First stop is creating the film, of which the egg magnet is a clue… 🥚
Thanks to Ventana Ballet, Rachel Cox Culver, Penelope Morejon Molina and Elaine Fields for bringing this piece to life in the first place. I love you all.

A monthly multidisciplinary jam open to musicians, dancers, choreographers, visual artists, and beyond, facilitated by me.
Dance on Film Workshop 🎬
Sergio Carrasco (director, cinematographer) and I have been making dance films together for about six years, and we want to share our experiences with— and learn from— viewers like you.
RehearsalClass 👯
Part of my process is playing with ideas in the studio for about two hours most weeks. I’d open this playtime up to other dancers through a free-to-attend RehearsalClass. I’ll lead a warm-up and improv score before playing with new choreography inspired by whoever shows up that day.

I want to facilitate a performance series to showcase different works-in-process (WIPs) that have started in or are connected to the classes and workshops offered through konverj/Austin. This series would allow artists the opportunity to present new, experimental collaborations in an intimate and immersive setting.

konverj/Austin’s mothership is preparing for the premiere of their first-ever, evening-length work ‘Buried Giants,’ featuring choreography by Amy Saunder, Jordan Miller and Tiffany Mangulabnan, an all-new, original score and performances by eight incredible dancers.
